Hollywood, CA (CNS) – Spotted: the stars of the CW’s teen drama “Gossip Girl,” dishing details on the new season.

MTV’s TRL went behind the scenes with Chace Crawford (Nate), Jessica Szohr (Vanessa), Leighton Meester (Blair), Ed Westwick (Chuck) and new boy Patrick Heusinger.

“The second season of ‘Gossip Girl’ – there’s so much drama coming up that you can’t even imagine,” says Szohr.

“There’s a couple interesting things that happen with Chuck,” says Szohr. “I always find it funny because Chuck is such a bad boy character, and he ends up getting punched again.”

Szohr adds that Blair brings home a surprise – in the form of new “gossip boy” Marcus, played by Patrick Heusinger.

Blair’s new boy does not necessarily mean that things are over between her and Chuck, though.

“We are about to shoot a scene between me and Ed [who plays Chuck]. It gets real steamy real fast,” says Meester. “He’s trying to seduce her. And he’s failing, but not for long.”

“Gossip Girl” returns for its second season on Sept. 1.
